Pneumatic lugged butterfly valves combine a resilient-seated lug-type butterfly valve with an AT series pneumatic quarter-turn actuator for automated isolation and general throttling duties in industrial piping systems.
The lugged body is designed with individual threaded mounting lugs around the valve body. This allows the valve to be bolted to the pipeline flanges more securely than a standard wafer valve and helps maintain valve alignment during installation. The lugged structure is suitable for pipework layouts where stable mounting, easier maintenance access, and section-by-section pipeline service need to be considered.
Different body, disc, and seat material options are available to suit the process medium and operating conditions. NBR, EPDM, VITON, and PTFE seat options allow the valve to be selected for water, air, oils, compatible chemicals, and other industrial media within the applicable material limits. Stainless steel and nickel aluminum bronze disc options are also available where improved corrosion resistance is required.
Single-acting and double-acting pneumatic actuator options are available. The single-acting actuator uses air to open and spring return when the air supply is interrupted, while the double-acting actuator uses compressed air for both opening and closing. Pneumatic accessories such as solenoid valves, limit switch boxes, pneumatic positioners, FRL units, and pneumatic handwheels can be supplied according to the required control method.
Pneumatic lugged butterfly valves are commonly used in water and wastewater treatment, HVAC systems, industrial utility lines, chemical process systems, compressed air pipelines, power plants, and general fluid-handling applications requiring automated butterfly valve operation with a more secure lugged mounting structure.

Pneumatic Solenoid Valve: Controls the air supply direction to open or close the pneumatic actuator, enabling remote and automated valve operation.
Pneumatic Positioner: Receives a control signal and adjusts the actuator position to achieve proportional valve opening for flow regulation applications.
Limit Switch Box: Provides open and closed valve position feedback, allowing the control system to monitor valve status remotely.
Manual Handwheel: Allows local manual operation of the pneumatic valve when manual override is required during commissioning or maintenance.
FRL Unit: Filters, regulates, and lubricates the compressed air supply to help maintain stable actuator operation and protect pneumatic components.
