VINCER manual ventilation butterfly valves are designed for low-pressure air, gas and ventilation duct systems. The flanged body design is suitable for installation in large-diameter ductwork and industrial ventilation pipelines where airflow isolation or general airflow adjustment is required.
Unlike conventional soft-seated pipeline butterfly valves, standard ventilation butterfly valves are usually supplied without a resilient sealing seat. This makes the valve suitable for low-pressure air-handling service where a certain leakage rate is acceptable. Low-leakage or customized sealing configurations can also be supplied according to the project requirements.
The valve disc opens and closes through quarter-turn rotation to regulate or isolate airflow in duct systems. Depending on the valve size and operating torque, the valve can be operated by a lever or a worm gearbox with handwheel. Worm gear operation is commonly selected for larger sizes to provide smoother manual opening and closing.
Body material options include cast iron, carbon steel, CF8, CF8M and CF3M. Stainless steel and nickel aluminum bronze disc materials are available for different operating environments. These valves are commonly used in HVAC systems, industrial ventilation, exhaust air systems, dust collection systems, air handling units and flue-gas duct applications.
