Multi-Turn Electric Actuators

Multi-turn electric actuator is a motor-driven device that operates valves requiring multiple rotations to move between open and closed positions, such as gate valves, globe valves, and knife gate valves. Unlike quarter-turn actuators, which rotate a maximum of 90 degrees, multi-turn actuators convert continuous rotational output into axial thrust, driving the valve stem up or down to raise or lower the gate or disc. These actuators are commonly used in heavy industrial applications including oil refining, long-distance pipeline transport, and wastewater treatment, where large valve sizes and high closing forces are required.
