Electric Ventilation Butterfly Valves

Electric ventilation butterfly valves are designed for airflow regulation and damper isolation in low-pressure, large-diameter air and gas duct systems. The valve uses a simple rotating disc structure to provide high flow capacity with relatively low flow resistance, making it suitable for ventilation lines that handle large volumes of air.

Unlike resilient-seated or metal-seated butterfly valves, this ventilation valve does not use a dedicated sealing seat. It is intended for airflow control and general isolation in applications where leak-tight shutoff is not required. This makes it suitable for ventilation, exhaust, dust collection, and other low-pressure duct systems rather than liquid service or applications with strict leakage requirements.

The flanged body design provides a stable bolted connection for industrial ducting and large-diameter pipelines. Available body and disc material options allow the valve to be selected according to the operating environment, gas composition, corrosion-resistance requirements, and project specifications.

The valve can be equipped with ON/OFF, modulating, or intelligent electric actuators. ON/OFF actuators are suitable for remote open-close operation, while modulating versions allow the disc angle to be adjusted for airflow regulation. Intelligent actuator options can provide local status indication and parameter setting for automated ventilation systems.

Electric ventilation butterfly valves are commonly used in industrial ventilation systems, dust collection lines, air-handling equipment, exhaust ducts, environmental-control systems, and other large-diameter low-pressure air or gas applications.
