Description

Trunnion mounted flanged ball valve designed for high-pressure and large-diameter pipeline systems. Unlike standard floating ball valves, the ball is fixed in place by a stem at the top and a trunnion support at the bottom. It does not shift laterally under system pressure. Only the ball rotates during operation, which reduces operating torque and prevents the pressure-induced friction that occurs in floating designs. This makes the valve less likely to jam or deform under high pressure, offering greater reliability and safety in demanding service conditions.

The valve is available in GB or ASME flanged configurations across a size range of DN50 to DN1400 (2″ to 56″), depending on the pressure class selected. Three body material options are available to suit different service media: WCB for water, steam, and oil service; SS304 (CF8) for nitric acid applications; or SS316 (CF8M) for acetic acid applications. Seat material is available in PTFE, rated to 150°C, or polystyrene for higher-temperature service. The maximum operating temperature depends on the body and seat material combination selected.
