2-piece Flanged Floating Ball Valve is a flanged ball valve for on/off flow control in small and medium-bore pipeline systems. Its simple structure, low operating torque, and ease of maintenance make it one of the most widely used ball valve types in industrial applications.
In a floating ball valve, the ball is free to move slightly within the valve body. When the valve closes, line pressure pushes the ball against the downstream seat to form a seal. The higher the upstream pressure, the tighter the seal becomes — a self-energized characteristic that makes floating ball valves well suited to low and medium-pressure pipeline service.
Available in GB, ASME/ANSI, JIS, and DIN standards, with body materials in WCB, SS304 (CF8), and SS316 (CF8M). Stem blow-out protection is standard; an anti-static device is available on request. Suitable for water treatment, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and general industrial piping applications.
