Flanged Gate Valves

Manual flanged gate valves are designed for fully open and fully closed shut-off service in industrial piping systems. When the valve is fully open, the gate moves out of the flow path to provide a straight-through flow passage, helping reduce flow resistance compared with valves designed for throttling or regulation.

This series is available in rising stem and non-rising stem designs. The rising stem type allows the stem position to move up and down with the gate, making the valve opening status easier to identify visually. The non-rising stem type keeps the stem in a fixed vertical position during operation, making it more suitable for installations where vertical space above the valve is limited.

The flanged body design provides a stable bolted connection for process pipelines and can be supplied to match common flange standards used in different markets. Body material options include carbon steel and stainless steel grades, allowing the valve to be selected according to pressure, temperature, corrosion resistance, and project requirements.

Different seat material options are available for rising stem and non-rising stem configurations. Rising stem versions can be supplied with PTFE seats for compatible media and higher temperature requirements, while non-rising stem versions are available with NBR seats for general low-temperature service.

Manual flanged gate valves are commonly used in water supply systems, wastewater treatment, industrial utility lines, oil and gas pipelines, chemical processing, power plants, and general process pipelines requiring reliable manual shut-off operation.
