Ammonia Globe Valve
Ammonia globe valves are designed for manual shut-off and general flow adjustment in pipelines handling ammonia and compatible ammonia-based process media. The globe valve structure uses linear disc movement to open, close, or adjust the flow passage, making it suitable for ammonia systems where reliable shut-off and controlled manual operation are required.
The valve uses a flanged body design for stable bolted installation in industrial process pipelines. Common flange standards can be supplied to match different project requirements, including GB, DIN, ASME, and JIS standards.
A soft-sealing structure is used to help improve sealing performance in ammonia service. Body material options include WCB, SS304, and SS316, allowing the valve to be selected according to pressure, temperature, corrosion-resistance requirements, and actual working conditions.
Compared with general-purpose globe valves, ammonia globe valves are selected with greater attention to sealing reliability and material compatibility. They are commonly used in industrial refrigeration systems, ammonia pipelines, chemical processing, cold storage facilities, fertilizer production, and other systems requiring manual valve control for ammonia service.
