Manual Plastic Wafer Butterfly Valves

VINCER manual plastic wafer butterfly valves are designed for local shut-off and general throttling in compatible corrosive-fluid piping systems. The plastic body and disc provide an alternative to conventional metal valves where chemical resistance, low weight and ease of installation are important.

The valve is available in UPVC, CPVC, PPH and PVDF constructions to meet different chemical compatibility requirements. Material selection should be based on the process medium, concentration, temperature, pressure and operating environment. EPDM and PTFE sealing options are available for different fluid-handling conditions.

The compact wafer-style body is installed between mating pipe flanges and requires less installation space than a conventional flanged valve. Its lightweight construction can simplify handling and installation, particularly in non-metallic piping systems, treatment equipment and skid-mounted process units.

Depending on the valve size and required operating torque, the valve can be operated by a lever or a worm gearbox with handwheel. Manual operation provides straightforward local control without requiring electrical power or compressed air.
