A manual butterfly valve is a quarter-turn valve that controls flow using a disc mounted on a central rotating shaft. When the disc is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is fully open and media flows freely around it. Rotating the shaft 90 degrees turns the disc perpendicular to the flow, blocking it. Butterfly valve is fast to operate, requires low torque, and provides reliable shut-off across a wide range of pipeline sizes.
Certifications show more than just approval. They reflect the rigorous quality control behind every valve, providing dependable performance for your application.
Butterfly valve range covers both soft seal butterfly valves with elastomer seats for standard water, gas, and mild chemical service, and metal hard seal butterfly valves for high-temperature and high-pressure applications such as steam lines, hot oil pipelines, and natural gas systems.
Butterfly valves have a shorter face-to-face dimension and lower weight than gate or globe valves of equivalent size and pressure class, reducing space requirements and the load on pipe supports and structural steelwork.
Non-standard sizes, special materials, and modified configurations are available. Full technical documentation including 2D/3D drawings and material certifications is provided upon request.
