Miniature Electric 3-Piece Ball Valves

Miniature electric 3-piece ball valves combine a compact electric actuator with a stainless steel 3-piece ball valve body for automated shut-off and positioning control in small-diameter piping systems. The compact actuator design helps reduce installation space and assembly weight, making the valve suitable for equipment packages, machine-mounted systems, and compact automated pipelines.

The 3-piece valve body allows the center section to be removed for inspection or maintenance while the end connections remain installed in the pipeline. This construction is useful for systems where regular cleaning, seat replacement, or internal inspection may be required, especially in small process lines or OEM equipment.

Threaded, socket-welded, butt-welded, sanitary clamp, and flanged end connections are available to suit different piping layouts. Threaded versions are suitable for compact utility and instrument lines, welded versions provide a more permanent connection for process piping, sanitary clamp versions support quick disassembly, and flanged versions are suitable where bolted pipeline connection is required.

The actuator is available in on/off and modulating control types. On/off versions are used for fully open and fully closed operation, while modulating versions allow proportional valve positioning through standard control signals. An optional power-loss return function can also be supplied, using a super capacitor module to return the valve to a preset position after power failure.
