Electric globe control valves are designed for automated flow regulation in industrial process pipelines. The globe valve structure uses linear plug movement to adjust the flow opening, making it more suitable for proportional control than quarter-turn shut-off valves such as ball valves or butterfly valves.
The actuator includes a built-in servo control system, allowing the valve to operate directly with a power supply and standard control signals without requiring a separate external servo amplifier. Direct action and reverse action configurations are available to match different control logic requirements in automated process systems.
The valve is available in 2-way and 3-way body styles. The 2-way version is used for regulating flow in a single pipeline, while the 3-way version is suitable for mixing or diverting service where process flow needs to be distributed or combined between different pipeline routes.
The metal hard-seated design is suitable for higher-temperature process conditions where soft seat materials may not be appropriate. Body material options include carbon steel and stainless steel grades, allowing the valve to be selected according to process temperature, pressure, corrosion resistance, and project specifications.
Electric globe control valves are commonly used in steam systems, thermal oil lines, chemical processing, water treatment, power generation, HVAC systems, and industrial automation processes requiring proportional flow control through an electric actuator.
