Globe Valves for Every Application

globe valve is a multi-turn valve that controls flow by moving a disc perpendicular to the pipeline bore and pressing it against an internal seat ring. Unlike gate and ball valves, globe valves can be positioned anywhere between fully open and fully closed, making them suitable for both tight shut-off and precise flow regulation. This throttling capability makes them a common choice in steam systems, chemical processing pipelines, and any application where flow rate needs to be controlled rather than simply switched on or off.

Certified Quality From Trusted Valve Manufacturer

Certifications show more than just approval. They reflect the rigorous quality control behind every valve, providing dependable performance for your application.

Why Choose VINCER Globe Valves?

Precise to the Last Turn

Multi-turn handwheel operation allows the disc to be positioned at any point in its travel, giving the operator fine control over flow rate. This makes globe valves the preferred choice over gate or ball valves wherever throttling and flow regulation are required alongside shut-off capability.

Safety-Matched for Critical Media

Dedicated globe valve variants are available for oxygen and ammonia service. Oxygen globe valves use materials and manufacturing processes appropriate for oxygen-enriched environments where standard lubricants and materials would present ignition risks. Ammonia globe valves are built with compatible materials to resist the corrosive effects of ammonia on standard cast iron components.

From Cryogenic to Steam

The range includes cryogenic globe valves with extended bonnets that keep the stem packing away from the cold process media, preventing cold embrittlement and maintaining sealing integrity at very low temperatures. Standard variants cover typical industrial temperature ranges for steam, water, oil, and gas service.

Non-standard sizes, special materials, and modified configurations are available with full technical documentation upon request.

VINCER Manual Globe Valves Purchasing Guide

A few details will help us send you the right model and an accurate quote:

Globe valve or gate/ball valve?
Choose a globe valve when the application requires flow regulation or throttling in addition to shut-off. Gate and ball valves are designed for full-open or full-closed service and are not suitable for sustained throttling. If the system only requires on/off isolation and low pressure drop is a priority, a gate or ball valve is likely the better choice.

Standard or specialty variant?
For general media including water, steam, oil, and gas, a standard flanged or threaded globe valve is appropriate. For oxygen service, a dedicated oxygen globe valve is required due to the ignition risks associated with standard materials and lubricants in high-oxygen environments. For ammonia service, standard cast iron body valves are not compatible and a material-specific variant should be selected. For cryogenic service below -46°C, an extended-bonnet cryogenic design is needed to protect the stem packing from cold embrittlement. If the process fluid must be kept at a specific temperature as it passes through the valve, a jacketed Y-type model should be specified.

Which connection type?
Flanged connections are the standard choice for larger pipelines and applications where the valve may need to be removed for maintenance. Threaded connections are used for smaller bore pipelines where installation simplicity is a priority. Welded connections provide a permanent, high-integrity joint for installations where disassembly is not required.

Body material
WCB carbon steel is suitable for general service including water, steam, oil, and gas. SS304 (CF8) and SS316 (CF8M) are specified for applications requiring stainless steel, such as chemical service or hygienic environments. For specialty media such as oxygen or ammonia, contact us to confirm the appropriate material selection for your specific application.
