Flanged Swing Check Valves
Flanged swing check valves are designed to prevent reverse flow in industrial piping systems. The valve uses a hinged swing disc that opens when the medium flows in the correct direction and closes when reverse flow occurs, helping protect pumps, pipelines, and process equipment from backflow.
The swing check structure provides a relatively straight flow path when the disc is open, making it suitable for applications where low flow resistance is required. It is commonly used for clean or compatible media where the flow direction needs to be maintained without manual operation or external actuation.
The flanged body design provides a stable bolted connection for process pipelines and can be supplied to match common flange standards, including GB, DIN, ASME, and JIS. Body material options include WCB, SS304, and SS316 to suit different pressure, temperature, and corrosion-resistance requirements.
Flanged swing check valves are commonly used in water supply systems, wastewater treatment, industrial utility lines, oil and gas pipelines, chemical processing, power plants, and general process systems requiring automatic backflow prevention.
