Electric actuated globe valves are designed for automated shut-off and general flow regulation in industrial piping systems. Unlike quarter-turn valves, globe valves use linear stem movement to move the disc toward or away from the seat, making them suitable for applications where controlled throttling and reliable isolation are both required.
The multi-turn electric actuator drives the valve stem to open, close, or adjust the valve position. ON/OFF actuator versions are suitable for remote open-close operation, while modulating versions can receive analog control signals for proportional valve positioning. A hand wheel can also be supplied for local manual operation when required.
The metal hard-seated construction makes the valve suitable for higher-temperature service and demanding process conditions where soft sealing materials may not be appropriate. Body material options include carbon steel, stainless steel, and special alloys, allowing the valve to be selected according to pressure rating, temperature, corrosion resistance, and project specifications.
Flanged, threaded, socket-welded, and butt-welded end connections are available for different piping requirements. Flanged versions are suitable for standard bolted pipeline installation, while welded connections provide a more permanent joint for process lines where long-term sealing integrity is required.
