Description

VSFF Anti-Corrosive Solenoid Valve is a direct-acting solenoid valve designed specifically for chemically aggressive media. The valve body, internal flow path, and sealing surfaces are all made from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), a material known for its near-universal chemical resistance. PTFE does not react with the vast majority of industrial chemicals, including concentrated acids, strong alkalis, oxidizing agents, and halogenated solvents, making it one of the few materials suitable for direct contact with these media.

Compared to metal-bodied solenoid valves with PTFE seals only, the VSFF eliminates any metal-to-media contact entirely. This is important in applications where even trace metal contamination is unacceptable, or where the media would corrode a valve body over time.

Both the valve body and seals of the VSFF Anti-Corrosive Solenoid Valve are made from PTFE, eliminating all metal contact with the process fluid. This provides reliable corrosion resistance against strong acids, alkalis, oxidizing agents, and most organic solvents, in applications where stainless steel or standard rubber-sealed valves would fail.

Wide Chemical Compatibility
PTFE is chemically inert to the vast majority of industrial chemicals. The VSFF is suitable for hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, chlorine water, hydrogen peroxide, and a broad range of organic solvents, making it one of the most chemically versatile solenoid valves in the VINCER range.

Low Friction, Smooth Operation
PTFE has one of the lowest friction coefficients of any solid material. This reduces internal wear during valve cycling and contributes to consistent, smooth actuation over the valve's service life, even in continuous-duty chemical dosing applications.

NC and NO Configurations
VSFF Anti-Corrosive Solenoid Valve is available in both normally closed and normally open configurations, allowing it to be specified for both standard flow control and fail-safe applications in chemical processing systems.
