2W31 water solenoid valve is a normally closed solenoid valve designed for applications where a compact, reliable shut-off solution is the priority. It offers the broadest seal material selection in the 2W series water solenoid valve — NBR, EPDM, and VITON — giving it an edge in media compatibility, particularly for hot water systems, mild chemical exposure, or applications requiring EPDM’s specific temperature and chemical resistance profile. Its straightforward normally closed design keeps the valve safely shut when de-energized, which is the preferred default for most water control and safety-critical systems.
